Indications for Use

The intended use of this device is for trained health care professionals to incorporate this technology into his/her scope of practice for the benefit of the patient and to treat those patients with specific pathologies using specific protocols.

Device Story

The LD-I 75 and LD-I 200 are low-level laser treatment heads used by trained healthcare professionals in clinical settings. The device applies laser energy that penetrates the skin to underlying tissues, stimulating cellular functions to provide pain relief. It is intended as an adjunctive therapy for rotator cuff tendonitis. The practitioner operates the device to deliver energy according to specific protocols, aiming to provide a surgery-free, cost-effective treatment option for patients.

Clinical Evidence

No clinical data provided. Performance is supported by factory calibration testing to verify device accuracy and adherence to quality system procedures.

Technological Characteristics

Class II low-level laser treatment heads. Operates via laser energy emission for non-heating tissue stimulation. Device is calibrated for accuracy and maintenance of performance over its useful life. Conforms to Quality Systems (QS) regulation.

Indications for Use

Indicated for adjunctive use in the temporary relief of pain associated with rotator cuff tendonitis in patients treated by healthcare professionals.

Regulatory Classification
