Indications for Use

The KSEA ENDOSPINE Operating Tube and Telescope Bridge is designed to be used by qualified surgeons and physicians for providing endoscopic access to the posterior lumbar spine by retracting tissues during endoscopic discectomy procedures.

Device Story

The ENDOSPINE Operating Tube and Telescope Bridge is a surgical instrument system used during endoscopic discectomy procedures. It consists of an operating tube, an obturator, and a telescope bridge. The bridge features integrated channels for irrigation, endoscope insertion, and working instruments. Used in an operating room setting by surgeons, the device provides a pathway to the posterior lumbar spine by retracting soft tissues. By facilitating endoscopic access, the device allows for minimally invasive spinal surgery, potentially reducing tissue trauma compared to open procedures. The device is constructed from surgical-grade stainless steel.

Clinical Evidence

No clinical data provided; substantial equivalence is based on design and intended use.

Technological Characteristics

Constructed of surgical-grade stainless steel. System includes an operating tube, obturator, and telescope bridge with integrated irrigation and working channels. Mechanical device; no energy source or software.

Indications for Use

Indicated for qualified surgeons and physicians to provide endoscopic access to the posterior lumbar spine by retracting tissues during endoscopic discectomy procedures.
