Ultraderm Sterile Latex Surgical Gloves are natural rubber latex gloves formulated to contain 50 micrograms or less of total water extractable protein per gram. Used in hospitals and healthcare facilities by operating room personnel during invasive and non-invasive medical procedures; gloves act as a physical barrier to protect surgical wounds from contamination. Device is a sterile, single-use surgical glove.

Clinical Evidence

Bench testing only. Biocompatibility testing included primary skin irritation, systemic toxicity, intracutaneous reactivity, hemocompatibility, and Guinea Pig Maximization; all results showed no irritation or reactivity. Physical testing confirmed compliance with ASTM D3577-98 for ultimate elongation and tensile strength, and 21 CFR §800.20 for barrier defects (AQL = 2.5). Protein content verified via ASTM Lowry test method.
