Indications for Use

VERZA™ High Speed Drills are indicated for drilling, burring, removing, and otherwise manipulating hard tissue, bone, bone cement, prosthesis, implant, and other bone related tissue during spinal and orthopedic procedures. VERZA™ High Speed Drills are electrical drill handpieces/attachments; powered by motor with control unit and foot pedal. Used in spinal and orthopedic procedures for drilling, burring, and removing bone/tissue/implants. Navigated using ExcelsiusGPS® or ExcelsiusHub™ systems; these systems aid surgeons in locating anatomical structures and positioning instruments via CT or fluoroscopy guidance. Navigated components are reusable/nonsterile; burs are single-use/sterile. Surgeons operate the drill to perform bone manipulation; navigation systems provide spatial positioning feedback to assist in accurate placement of spinal/orthopedic screws and fusion devices.
