Device Story

SmileBond System is a dental impression material used for cosmetic and functional dental procedures. The device consists of a silicone-based impression material delivered via a dual-barrel cartridge system. It is applied by dental professionals into an impression tray or directly onto the patient's teeth to capture anatomical structures. The material reproduces fine detail for study models or the fabrication of restorative prosthetic devices. In the lab, the clear material is used to create an accurate impression of a final wax-up, which is then transferred to the patient's mouth for the bonding process. The system aids in addressing conditions such as malpositioned teeth, discoloration, anatomical malformations, and decay repair, ultimately facilitating smile enhancement and bite alignment.

Clinical Evidence

No clinical data. The device relies on substantial equivalence to legally marketed predicate devices based on technological characteristics and intended use.
