Indications for Use

The CLS001 Laser System is indicated to effect stable, long-term or permanent hair reduction, in Fitzpatrick skin types I-VI; including sun tanned skin types. Permanent hair reduction is defined as long-term, stable reduction in the number of hairs regrowing after a treatment regime The CLS001 Laser System is intended to effect coagulation and haemostatis of vascular lesions in Fitzpatrick skin types I-VI, including suntanned skin types.

Device Story

CLS001 Laser System is an analog, pulsed Nd:YAG laser (1064 nm) used for hair reduction and vascular lesion coagulation/hemostasis. Device utilizes Nd:YAG crystal as lasing medium; activation controlled via footswitch. System is a standalone unit (66 lbs) operated by clinicians in a professional setting. Output is radiant energy delivered to target tissue. Device lacks digital/microprocessor controls, distinguishing it from predicate systems. Clinical benefit includes stable, long-term hair reduction and vascular lesion management across all Fitzpatrick skin types.

Clinical Evidence

No clinical data required.

Technological Characteristics

Analog, pulsed Nd:YAG laser; 1064 nm wavelength. Nd:YAG crystal lasing medium. Footswitch activation. Dimensions: 13.8"H x 23.6"W x 17.3"D; weight 66 lbs. Electrical: 220/240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 8 amps. Manufactured per cGMP (WHO/VSQ/97.02).

Indications for Use

Indicated for stable, long-term or permanent hair reduction and coagulation/hemostasis of vascular lesions in patients of all Fitzpatrick skin types (I-VI), including those with sun-tanned skin.

Regulatory Classification

Identification
