Indications for Use

The MODALIXX G202MP display is intended for use by physicians and the medical industry for diagnostic imaging applications along with the Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS). The Modalixx G202MP is also intended as a direct replacement for ageing CRT medical monitors.

Device Story

The Modalixx G202MP is a 20.1-inch grayscale medical LCD monitor designed as a replacement for legacy CRT monitors in clinical settings. It accepts various analog video inputs, including single to 5 BNC connections and D-SUB 15 (VGA), supporting resolutions from 525 to 1600 horizontal pixels. The device features an Auto Sync function that detects incoming video signals from medical modalities and upscales them to a 2-megapixel resolution for display. It provides a brightness of 1000 CD/M2 and a 1500:1 contrast ratio. Physicians and medical staff use the monitor to view digital images within a PACS environment. By providing a high-resolution, high-contrast grayscale display, it assists clinicians in reviewing medical images, facilitating diagnostic decision-making.
