Indications for Use

Electrically powered devices intended for medical purposes that repeatedly contracts muscles by passing electrical currents through electrodes contacting the affected body area.

Device Story

Rhythm Touch Q 2-Way is a dual-channel powered muscle stimulator. Device generates electrical stimulation signals delivered to muscles via skin electrodes and lead wires. Powered by two AAA batteries. Used to induce muscle contraction for therapeutic purposes. Operates by passing electrical currents through electrodes placed on the patient's body. Intended for clinical or home use to manage muscle spasms, atrophy, circulation, and post-surgical thrombosis prevention.

Clinical Evidence

No clinical data provided; substantial equivalence is based on technological characteristics and intended use comparison to the predicate device.

Technological Characteristics

Dual-channel powered muscle stimulator. Components include electronic stimulation module, lead wires, and 2" x 2" adhesive electrodes. Power source: two AAA batteries. Operates via electrical stimulation of muscles. No software algorithm or connectivity described.

Indications for Use

Indicated for relaxation of muscle spasms, prevention or retardation of disuse atrophy, increasing local blood circulation, muscle re-education, immediate post-surgical stimulation of calf muscles to prevent venous thrombosis, and maintaining or increasing range of motion.
