Nitrile patient examination glove; powder-free; blue color; non-sterile. Designed for use by healthcare professionals to prevent cross-contamination between patient and examiner. Tested for permeation resistance against specific chemotherapy drugs. Provides barrier protection during drug preparation and administration. Manufactured via halogenation/siliconization and extensive water washing. Surface is free from glove powder. Evaluated for primary dermal irritation and sensitization; results indicate non-irritant status.

Clinical Evidence

Bench testing only. Testing included physical property evaluation per ASTM D6319-00a, pinhole testing per ASTM D5151, and primary dermal irritation/sensitization studies (Buehler method) per 16 CFR 1500.41. Permeation testing performed for specific chemotherapy drugs.

Technological Characteristics

Nitrile material; powder-free; blue color; non-sterile. Surface treated via halogenation and siliconization. Meets ASTM D6319-00a (dimensions, physical properties, residue) and ASTM D5151 (pinhole).

Indications for Use

Indicated for use as a disposable medical glove worn on examiner's hands or fingers to prevent cross-contamination between patient and examiner. Also indicated for protection against chemotherapy drug exposure during preparation and administration of specific drugs (Amethopterin Hydrate, Cisplatin, Cyclophosphamide, Dacarbazine, Doxorubicin Hydrochloride, Etoposide, 5-Fluorouracil, Paclitaxel, and Vincristine Sulfate).
