## Indications for Use

Procera® AllCeram Bridge Material is used to fuse together the sections of the core material in densely sintered aluminium oxide of a dental bridge.

## Device Story

Procera® AllCeram Bridge Material consists of two components: a connection material (premixed suspension of aluminium oxide particles, dispersant, binder, and de-ionized water) and a fusing material (suspension of glass material and water). Used by dental professionals to fuse sections of aluminium oxide frameworks for dental bridges. The addition of aluminium oxide particles to the joint material provides increased fracture resistance compared to the predicate device. The device functions as a dental restorative material.

## Clinical Evidence

Bench testing only. Evidence demonstrates increased fracture resistance (24-47% improvement) compared to the predicate device.

## Technological Characteristics

Material: Aluminium oxide particles, glass material, dispersant, binder, de-ionized water. Function: Dental bridge framework fusion. Form: Suspension. The device is a dental porcelain powder/suspension for clinical use.

## Regulatory Identification

Porcelain powder for clinical use is a device consisting of a mixture of kaolin, felspar, quartz, or other substances intended for use in the production of artificial teeth in fixed or removable dentures, of jacket crowns, facings, and veneers. The device is used in prosthetic dentistry by heating the powder mixture to a high temperature in an oven to produce a hard prosthesis with a glass-like finish.
