Operated by surgeons in clinical/surgical settings. System functions by delivering energy to target tissue to induce coagulation. Benefits include effective tissue management during surgical procedures. Device is substantially equivalent to existing RF surgical tools.

Clinical Evidence

Bench testing and animal testing were performed. Results demonstrate the device is safe and effective for its intended function. Biocompatibility of materials in direct tissue and blood contact was confirmed.

You may, therefore, market the device, subject to the general controls provisions of the Act. The general controls provisions of the Act include requirements for annual registration, listing of devices, good manufacturing practice, labeling, and prohibitions against misbranding and adulteration.
